"From a design perspective, I was sold immediately — no question. But when it came to the price and all the marketing promises, I honestly had my doubts. So I kept putting off the purchase for months. And yet, I found myself going back to the website again and again. About four weeks ago, I finally ordered it. Fast and smooth delivery. Since then, it has been in almost nonstop use — professionally and privately. Transporting what is probably the purest salmon in Europe from Swiss Lachs, raised in the Swiss Alps, all the way to Monte Carlo, Nice and Saint-Tropez … and returning with some of the finest delicacies. Even with very high temperatures inside the car, the box performs incredibly well — in my case for up to two days using four Oyster ice packs. Of course, when fully loaded it’s not lightweight, but thanks to the shoulder strap it’s still very manageable. And honestly: I think I now own the chicest cooler box in the world — both for clients and private use. An eycatcher everywhere I go. Top product."

"I did not think it mattered having the cooler filled in order to keep temps down but that is a huge factor in keeping it cool several days. Aside from that, it is lightweight and very portable in comparison to competitors ultra clunky coolers for the same size"

Possible Initial Defect?
"I purchased this from the first production lot because I really liked the design and functionality. I understand that shipping delays can happen, but I was first told it would ship two weeks ago, and it actually shipped one week ago. The product arrived on May 3, but the thermometer does not respond at all. I contacted customer service, but I have only received bot responses so far, and I still have not heard from an actual staff member after two days. I am worried that I may have no choice but to keep using a defective product…"

Lid split on first use; unresponsive on warranty
"Love the cooling power on this product, and was dissappointed when the lip and the lid separated on the first trip we used it on (apparently they're held together with nothing but a bead of adhesive). Photos attached of the separation and the glue line that was supposed to hold it together. While I'd have expected a premium product like this to have a better mechanism to hold together (at least a comple of spot welds?), I was confident that since this was an obvious defect in workmanship, it'd get taken care of quickly through the highly touted lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, it's now been more than three weeks (and multiple follow-up messages from me) since the last response from them, and I'm still sitting with a broken cooler. Definitely pretty far from what I'd expect from a company that charges half a grand for a product that's clearly intended to be premium. . ."

Defective Thermostat.
"“Hiro” and I have both experienced the same defect with the thermostat not cooperating or functioning at all. There is no build worries as it is truly built exceptionally well and came as expected in a very timely manner. Aside from the thermostat quirk and lack of operational integrity the product overall is terrific, thank you."

The best cooler ever!
"We have always been a Yeti family. Love their products and didn’t think you could ever top their coolers. Welp, I was wrong. The Oyster is amazing. Weighs less, looks more sophisticated in my opinion, and believe it or not, keeps things just as cold without all the heavy ice. It hold much more than it looks like it would be able to. My favorite part is how light it is. We take it with us grocery shopping and it keeps our frozen items, froze for the day. Love it! I got the oops edition and I can’t even tell what is wrong with it cosmetically."

Best cooler by far!! We
"Best cooler by far!! We have gotten rid of all our bulky plastic yeti coolers and replaced them with new oyster coolers, so much better in the high heat areas we cruise with on the yacht! Also they are asthetically pleasing and more compact, keep the drinks far colder than any other cooler and for much longer!!"

Fantastic cooler
"Bought the factory seconds to save money, can barely see some small scuffs which do not bother me at all. The technology the cooler uses is very very impressive. We use our coolers primarily for grocery shopping at stores that are far away ( day trip. ) blue packs are great but if you need things maintained at an even cooler temp then the white packs are better. Hope you guys make a larger model at some point."
